Internet Information Services (IIS) Installation

The Access Information Center (AIC) is a web application that displays in a browser window. The Internet Information Services (IIS) must be installed on the hosting server with the required IIS components. IIS components can be confirmed or installed through Server Manager.

This document includes instructions for installing these IIS components on a Windows Server 2016, a Windows Server 2012 R2, or a Windows Server 2008 R2 platform. For installation on another server platform, see Microsoft’s Web Server (IIS) Administration Article.

If IIS is already installed on the server, then it is necessary to confirm that IIS has the correct components installed. This document includes the lists of necessary IIS components on a Windows Server 2016, a Windows Server 2012 R2, or a Windows Server 2008 R2 platform.

.NET Framework 4.6.1 can be downloaded from the link in the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 offline installer for Windows article for installation on supported Windows Server 2008 R2 through Windows Server 2012 R2 platforms.
